Blake Owens is a Senior Policy Consultant with the Integrated Care Team at Aurrera Health Group. He supports Medicaid, behavioral health policy, and social service-related projects.
Prior to joining Aurrera Health Group, Blake worked for Plymouth Housing, a permanent supportive housing provider in Seattle where he managed community engagement programs and led the special event planning for three new permanent supportive housing buildings for the organization. Blake’s prior work focused on the continuum of health and social services through direct social service delivery for folks experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles while at LA Family Housing. He also managed large-scale, business transformation projects for health care payers and providers as a Senior Consultant at PwC. He brings additional subject matter experience in the social determinants of health space that he gained while working as a Health Industries Research Analyst at PwC.
Blake holds a bachelor’s degree in political economics with a focus in health policy from the University of California, Berkeley. In his free time, he loves to trail run, practice yoga, cook, and spend time with his partner and friends.
