Ann-Alecia Brewer supports Aurrera Health’s Culture and Operations team in providing an engaging atmosphere for employees to thrive in the workplace. She is passionate about creating environments that support people being their authentic selves at work and efficiently improving systems for smooth interactions.
Before joining Aurrera Health, Ann-Alecia worked in the managed care health insurance industry focusing on improving health outcomes through process/project improvement efforts, health plan operations, and in-home member services where she had opportunities to lead employee engagement initiatives, including staff training and team building activities. She began her career with an emphasis in mental health and working within the foster care system.
Ann-Alecia holds a master of social work degree from California State University, Sacramento and a B.A. in cognitive science and psychology from UC Merced. In her free time she enjoys traveling, creating memories with friends and family, supporting local community events, reading all the books, volunteering with her sorority, and spending lots of time with her four-legged bestie Reggie.
