Emily leads Aurrera Health’s communications and design services team, supporting clients in delivering clear, impactful messaging and visual design. Emily excels at reaching stakeholders through multiple channels, crafting visually compelling, data-driven narratives for multi-faceted initiatives. She specializes in translating complex policy information into accessible content, ensuring that key audiences—including policymakers, providers, and the public—stay informed and engaged. Her work spans social and digital media, content strategy, and stakeholder outreach.
Emily brings a wide range of experience from the non-profit sector and outdoor industry. Most recently, she improved outreach efforts and strengthened support for the Pacific Crest Trail Association, where she enjoyed working with a wide group of volunteers, partners and communities along the 2,650-mile National Scenic Trail. Throughout her career, Emily has worked collaboratively with local governments, non-profits, and private businesses to create innovative programs.
Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Willamette University. Emily lives in Portland, Oregon where she enjoys tending to her vegetable garden and pursuing outdoor adventures with her husband and sons.
