Deputy Director
Kathleen Kane, MPH is a Deputy Director on Aurrera’s Integrated Care team, where she supports planning, development, and implementation for behavioral health projects under the California Department of Health Care Services’ California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) and Behavioral Health Transformation initiatives.
Before joining Aurrera in 2022, Kathleen worked in healthcare operations at AltaMed Health Services, a Los Angeles-based FQHC, leading process improvement and business development projects and implementing pediatric Adverse Childhood Experience screenings as part of the ACEs Aware Initiative. Kathleen’s prior work included direct social service delivery and participation in research projects at several non-profits and community organizations, where she provided service navigation, harm reduction support, and health education to community members.
Kathleen holds a master’s degree in public health with a focus on health policy from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a bachelor’s degree in community health education from Portland State University. In her free time, she enjoys reading classic rock biographies and hanging out with her dog.
