Khadijah Davis

Khadijah Davis, MSPH is a Senior Policy Consultant with Aurrera Health Group’s Integrated Care team. Khadijah specializes in health equity research, project management, community engagement, and policy analysis. In her role, Khadijah works with California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) on several behavioral health initiatives including the Naloxone Distribution Project (NDP) and State Opioid Response (SOR) grant.

Prior to joining Aurrera Health Group, Khadijah worked as a Research Coordinator for the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center (NUPPC). At NUPPC, she assisted with efforts to evaluate the state’s first opioid response grant along with Nebraska’s Ryan White Part B program, diversion courts, and youth suicide prevention efforts. Khadijah also assisted with planning for the state’s transition to 988, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline’s step towards creating a universal entry point for crisis.

At both Washington University in St. Louis and Johns Hopkins, Khadijah completed extensive ethnographic fieldwork on HIV/AIDS, COVID-19, and mental health resource improvement. She’s also served as a community consultant for multiple small businesses in Baltimore and was the primary political fellow for a national political campaign.

Khadijah holds a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in health policy and a certification in Health Disparities and Health Inequality from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a bachelor’s degree in Global Health and Environment and Psychological & Brain Sciences: Cognitive Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis. In her free time, Khadijah enjoys reading, attending sporting events, and teaching first-graders to play golf.
