Aurrera Health is supporting the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) in its efforts to reduce stigma and educate SUD treatment providers on taking a harm-reduction approach to SUD treatment services. Held regionally across the State of California, the five DHCS Summits on Harm Reduction in SUD Treatment will bring together SUD treatment providers and staff at all levels, and harm reduction experts to create low-barrier, patient-centered care.  As a part of this work, the Aurrera Health team provides project management support, stakeholder engagement, and subject matter expertise, along with developing tools to help treatment providers implement these practice changes.
