Raising Awareness of Dementia Care Aware Training

Dementia Care Aware is a statewide initiative led by the California Department of Health Care Services that provides training, tools, and resources for providers to conduct cognitive health assessments to screen for dementia. Aurrera Health supported the Alzheimer’s Association of Northern California to raise awareness of the Dementia Care Aware training among providers by developing an outreach strategy and identifying key organizations to engage in this effort.
