Juliet Kohli, MPH, is a policy consultant for the Medicaid Policy & Programs team at Aurrera Health Group, where she supports clients with mission-driven policy implementation and stakeholder engagement across the country.
Juliet joined Aurrera Health Group in November 2022. Since joining, she has worked on projects focused on education, data sharing, and health equity for value-based care arrangements. She provides support with stakeholder engagement, meeting facilitation, and policy research surrounding best and promising practices. Currently, she is providing support for Aurrera’s contract with The California Department of Health Care Services, helping with the rollout of Long-Term Care/Services carve-in under CalAIM for Intermediate Care Facilities, Dual-eligible beneficiaries, and Sub-Acute Care Facilities.
Juliet brings valuable experience across diverse public health environments, ranging from global and environmental health policy to population health-focused research. Prior to joining the Aurrera Health team, Juliet worked in a dual role as a research analyst and community health navigator within an asthma study, aiming to improve patient outcomes across Philadelphia. She formed partnerships with physician groups and other key stakeholders, conducted health and social needs assessments, and provided care management services to enhance patient-physician communication.
Juliet holds a master’s degree in public health and a bachelor’s degree in health and societies from the University of Pennsylvania. While at Penn, she traveled abroad to work for the Public Health Foundation of India and conducted COVID-19 contact tracing for the city of Philadelphia. Outside of work, you can find Juliet running, baking, and exploring new restaurants in her home city of Philadelphia.
