George S. Lino, MS brings more than 15 years of HR leadership experience to Aurrera Health Group. As Managing Director of Talent and Culture, George leads a comprehensive talent management strategy for our people-driven organization and supports Aurrera Health in building and maintaining a culture of inclusion and accountability.
George joins Aurrera Health from Whitman-Walker, where he served as Vice President of People. There he was responsible for creating and supporting a collaborative and affirming workplace where patients, community members, and employees could contribute at their highest value to the organizational vision. He worked closely with Senior Leadership to design, operate, and oversee a talent management strategy focused on excellence, integrity, and equity.
Previously, George worked at Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas, performing the role of Vice President of HR and Administration, where as a member of the senior executive team he focused on managing effectiveness within IT, HR, and Organizational Development teams. George’s earlier positions include Head of HR at START Treatment & Recovery Center and HR and Talent Acquisition Consultant at Children of Promise.
George holds a master’s degree in organizational development and leadership and a bachelor’s degree in non-profit/public/organizational management, both from Mercy University. George currently provides his expertise in several organizations that focuses on the LGBTIA Communities, Youth Programs for children whose parents are incarcerated and other organizations.
