Deputy Director
Madison Royer, MPH is a Deputy Director on Aurrera Health Group’s Integrated Care team. She supports projects to expand access to medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder in California.
Prior to joining Aurrera Health Group, Madison served as project coordinator for Hep C Free Allegheny, an initiative to eliminate hepatitis C in the greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania region. She facilitated workgroup meetings, monitored strategic plan progress, and assisted in various projects to support the initiative. She also participated in local, state, and national hepatitis elimination planning meetings and advocated for programs and policies to better serve at-risk populations, including people who inject drugs.
Madison also worked as an intern with the Allegheny County Health Department Bureau of Public Policy and Community Relations, where she developed health profiles for legislative districts, drafted advocacy letters to state representatives, and completed policy research and briefs for health department leadership.
Madison holds a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in health policy and management from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology from Boston University. In her free time, Madison enjoys cooking and hiking with her family and golden retriever.
