Understanding Substance Use Prevalence in California

Aurrera Health worked with the California Health Care Foundation to update their Substance Use in California Almanac. The almanac highlights data on a variety of topics related to substance use disorders (SUD), including the prevalence of SUDs, overdoses, deaths, SUD treatment, workforce, spending, and information about California’s public system. Data are stratified by race and ethnicity, gender, and age. To complete this update, Aurrera Health reviewed federal and state data sources.
