Sarah Tocher supports a wide range of clients through policy analysis, material development, stakeholder engagement, technical assistance, and project management. Sarah is currently working with multiple states on the planning, development, and implementation of health care transformation initiatives, including California’s Behavioral Health Transformation effort.
Since joining the firm in 2021, Sarah has worked on projects related to 988 crisis lines, state and local opioid response, older adult behavioral health, health workforce, trauma-responsive care, and the unwinding of the COVID-19 public health emergency. She also previously served as a key staffer on the Pathways to Resilience initiative and as Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President. Across projects, Sarah provides support by conducting policy research and analysis, planning and facilitating meetings and stakeholder interviews, developing reports and presentations, and providing project management support.
Prior to joining Aurrera Health Group, Sarah served as a session committee assistant at the Washington State House of Representatives as part of the Consumer Protection & Business Committee. She graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a bachelor’s degree in government. Sarah lives in Los Angeles and enjoys reading, baking, doing crosswords, skiing, and playing soccer in her free time.
